The Orange County Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, and Economic Development Authority unveiled the current working draft of the Germanna-Wilderness Area Plan (GWAP) on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. As part of the public briefing that evening, the Board announced that public comment is welcome through January 2, 2015. The current GWAP draft is available on the official County of Orange website as well as instructions for how to leave public comment. Read more

Governor McAuliffe Press Release: Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Green Applications LLC, a Division of Green Distribution, one of the largest printers and distributors of textile merchandise and heat applied graphics on the East Coast, will invest $9.75 million to establish its first Virginia operation in the Town of Gordonsville in Orange County.
